 The International Campaign for Releasing the Abducted MPs condemns the oppressive act against MP, Jenny Tong after her statement that Israeli soldiers supporting the relief effort in Haiti had been involved with organ-trafficking. Tong had been removed as a Liberal Democrat health spokeswoman in the Lords.

For her part, the member of the International Campaign for releasing the abducted MPs, Huda Naeem, had called Tong expressing her sorrow for this action and declaring her support to Tong.  

In the same context, Tong had thanked the campaign stating that act will not prevent her to continue in her support to all humanitarian causes in the world.

It is worth mentioning that Tong is one of  the most prominent figures in supporting the Palestinian cause and she is the head of the European Campaign for releasing the abducted MPs. She was a member of the parliamentarian delegation who visited Gaza  last January for lifting the unjust siege upon Gaza Strip.
