In a meeting between the head  of the European Parliamentarian Campaign for Releasing the Abducted MPs, Jenny Tong, and Khafeer Solana , the  Secretary of Foreign Affairs in the European Union, they discussed the issue of the abducted MPs.

Tong considered the abduction of the MPs outrageous violation of the international laws as they are elected in fair elections verified by the whole world. She called for immediate Release of the 36 abducted MPs. Tong added that MPs are forbidden to practice their legal and parliamentarian rights despite of the  diplomatic immunity.

Solana assured that the European Parliament understands the suffer of the abducted MPs hoping to be released in the near future.

It is worthy to mention that this meeting is one of activities of the European Parliamentarian Campaign for Releasing the Abducted MPs.
