It seems as if there is no limit to the chains that the world is willing to make Palestinians endure. How can people turn their backs on such enormous violations of human and civil rights? Imprisoning MPs! There is no limit. As one of your writers stressed, Palestinians were encouraged to use the tools of democracy to select their own leaders, and the moment they did it, they have been punished beyond all limits. Any of us who can have to work harder to see that these members of Parliament are returned to their families, to their positions of governance and that law and justice prevail, not brutality against them and the entire Palestinian people. May these prisoners find strength and may they some way know there are many who long for their freedom and seek justice for them. It is so sad and tragic that the world is ignoring this violation of human rights!
